I tried to do this last night but our internet was being silly. This fire started yesterday not to far from eric work. he took pictures of it when they were first told and it isn't very big. But by the time we went to Grand Junction and home it had grown a huge amount in only a few hours. We could see the flames from the interstate at DeBeque. I wish the camera could get a better picture. It is still not controlled and if winds pick up there is a town not to far so praying for rain and great crews!!

From grand junction. It is so big it is making its own clouds now.
you can just barely see a spot above the cliff in the middle. that is one of the helicopters that is dipping water out of the river there. Was happy to see 3 helicopters and bomber plane.
from here we could see lots of flames
