Missing my sewing machine and craft stuff!!
I know I should be unpacking the rest and worrying about getting organized but lately I have been wanting to do some craft stuff, but most of my craft stuff, scrap booking stuff, and my sewing machine are still in storage in South Dakota:( I am not sure when we will get up there to get it but I hope sooner than later. But it will probably be at least May at this point while we try to get caught up and get my car fixed. I still have to figure out my handmade in 2011 projects for everyone and get started on them, but some of the ideas I have I will need my sewing machine. So for now I am going to have to just get the ideas first and then later get them going:)

Good Friends are so great to have
My friend Michelle is awesome! She lives in North Carolina and I am sad to say I haven't even gotten to see her in 10 years almost, yes 10 years!! We met at Teton Valley Ranch where we both worked. She was the funniest girl ever and it was like I had met my world twin:) We had the same taste in prity much everything, the same sense of humor and the same ideas to get in trouble:) Ok not bad trouble just some trouble:)(So wish I had the pictures of our jello fight on disk:)) We have kept in touch every since the ranch but have never been able to get back together. She facebook me today and offered to pay half a plane ticket for me if I would want to come and visit her:) OH how sweet. She is the sweetest. She wants me to come out the last week of march, which just so happens to be my birthday:) Wouldn't that have been an awesome birthday present. I don't think I will be making it out there right now, but what a sweet, sweet offer. Someday I will definitely make it out there:) I wish I had more of my pictures on disk from this time or a scanner. But here is a few of us on our rough ride and boy was it an experience and one I am glad we had together:)
Michelle and I are the middle two horses. This ride was a huge deal to the campers and the staff. It was a huge mystery to anyone what went on during this ride. The only thing people seen was you leaving military style in white shirts and jeans and returning completely caked in mud!!! AWESOME!!!!
I am on the left and Michelle is in the middle. Yes we do have bones and branches tied to our heads:) What can I say we weren't followers:)Such awesome memories and an amazing friend to remember them with:)

Decorating the house
I am so excited about making our house a "home":) It is pretty barren right now as we really don't own a lot. But I love to decorate. I definitely love a western, christian mix so I have been looking at stuff I would love to have for the house someday. Some I have seen in stores lately and some I have seen online. I thought I would share a few things I have been drooling over:)

"Hero of the storm" by David R Stocklein. We just love his work and of course it would have to be in a more rustic frame:) This would be for the living room.
I love this bed set but boy does it not come cheap. I want to do our bedroom in barbwire and praying cowboy.
And this is my dream bed that I want for the bedset only in more wood tones not the black. I may be attempting to make this one on my own someday:)

I just fell in love with these two wall hangings by M&F products. Little to high priced for my liking but still in love with them:)

Our first visitor:)
Yesterday we had our first visitor:) I was so excited to have BECG stop by and visit. She did come baring a few gifts to borrow:) But I did feed her chili in exchange:) I think I got the better end of the deal but it was so awesome to have her. She liked our place as do we:) Much much better than the other one:) It was just nice to sit back, relax and enjoy some good company. Even handsome had a great time but he thinks "L" is an awesome lady:) I am so looking forward to more visitors and more time with "L". It will be fun to see her run some barrels this year. Can't wait:) Maybe next move a long time from now:) we will get to be closer:)

I love my husband:)
So my husband has today and tomorrow off. Two days in a row is amazing, we don't remember the last time that happened other than when we were looking for work and that is like more work than work:) But he got up this morning and helped me get a lot more unpacking done:) YEAH!!!!!!!!! We both said "oh no did we jinx ourselves" Every time we get unpacked it seems like then we have to move again. But not this time we both said:) It will just be nice to get things organized. We still have a whole other load in South Dakota that still has to come down. So our house looks prity empty really:) It will be just nice to have a "home":) Well better go help handsome get some more done today and be time to feed the horses soon.

Bittersweet.......
I find myself having a hard time getting motivated to finish the unpacking and start decorating. It has just been such a crazy few weeks and I know a lot of it is that I am not feeling the best. I know the stress added a lot to that and I am glad things seem to be calming down. Eric is working hard and enjoying it so far. He is just happy to be making a good wage. But this is definitely Bittersweet for both of us. We are so happy and blessed to have been given this opportunity. A opportunity to make a good wage, get out of debt in time, get insurance in a few months, etc, etc. But I have to say both of our hearts are still in the ranch life. I caught myself tearing up just a little bit ago sitting on the deck watching over the cows in the distance. It is calving season(our favorite season) and we will not be a part of that this year. We loved the ranch life sooooooooooooooo very much and it is in our hearts. But it just wasn't working out. We are going to concentrate on the good we have now and hold the good memories of ranching in our hearts forever. Maybe someday we will have the chance again with out all the heartaches! So for now I got to get to work on making this house a home for us:)

Connected to the world once again:)
I am so excited to be back in the land of technology and blogger friends;) I can't wait to read and catch up on what has been going on in every one's lives! It has been a crazy two weeks. We have moved two times, yes two times. The place we were going to rent turned into a huge TRAIN WRECK. I will say thank you again to everyone for the prayers and support it has meant a ton and we are looking forward to things getting better. The past two weeks have definitely been a trial but we just keep thinking that things are looking up:) things are getting better:)
So we got to the new place and unloaded everything to discover a lot of stuff wrong with the house. The tub leaked like crazy and was rotting the floor and walls around it which we kind of new about but were told would be fixed, then the kitchen sink only had hot water, the closet in the bedroom leaked like crazy and was full of ice when we moved in and also mold. Which with my health NO THANK YOU:) The washer didn't work, etc. I think you see a train wreck. Then the neighbor that also rents from them tells us they are drunks, they walk around naked in the summer, they have been through 4 renters in little over a year, etc, ect. We wonder oh my what have we gotten ourselves into. So after feeling like crap for a few days from the mold, dirt and dust they still have not fixed any of the problems so no showers, no way to do dishes or laundry I asked the lady if it would be ok if we found something else as there was a lot that needed done there before it was ready to be lived in. She agreed and so we did go look at another place and day later signed the lease. So me thinking I was being kind called to let her know she said fine thanks for letting them know in such a timely manner. So then about noon she pulls up to the house and brings me a sheet and wants me to pay almost $400 for the like 8 days we had been there. I said we could work something out but that seemed a little high considering the rent is only $900/mo. and we couldn't shower, do dishes, etc, etc. She all the sudden goes completely psycho and starts screaming at me that I am trespassing and she is going to call the police, etc. Then goes out front and starts saying that "I f*&cked with the wrong f*&ckin bi*7ch" she started threatening me and my animals and got in the car and was spinning around in driveway almost hitting trailer and cars. I immediatly called 911. Long story she was psycho the whole time till of course cops got there and then nicey nice and lie, lie, lie. But thank Gosh For BECG to talk to on the phone. I was so upset she may hurt my animals and such I was shaking and crying. Cops figured out she was drunk and told her to go home and not to return or she would go to jail and told me in our best interest to get out asap since she was so "unbalanced" Guess I was lucky, she has physically assaulted two other renters, stolen from a few and threw stuff at one in the house. Thank you LORD for watching over us:)
So on to better news we are in the new house and liking it:) It is just a simple older mobile home they have redone a few things. It is on a few acres so the horses have pasture, the dogs have a fenced back yard and we have a safe, warm, working home:) We are just excited to see what the future holds. The next few months will be stressful trying to get caught up but it will be awesome to finally be settled and get a regular good paycheck:)
I will get pics up asap. Missed y'all:)

I told you it was coming....The YAY POST:)
So our world changed in a huge way today. Eric got the job and starts Monday and thanks to some angels on earth we got a rental house. We are sooooooooooooooo beyond excited. I have been moved to tears numerous times today! If all goes as planned our world is about to change in a huge, huge way!!! In a way we never could have dreamed about. It is hard to believe to be honest. We are just beyond words with thanks and praise. Thank you all for the Prayers. GOD IS AMAZING AND FAITHFUL!!!
We will load up a load tomorrow and then take the first load up Thursday and then come back and do a second load and the horses and that will probably be it. Of course then we will have to get the other load from South Dakota still. It will just be nice to be somewhere and stay:) We have a year lease so at least we know we will be there;) Can't wait to get pics and share them:)
Can't even begin to express the joy!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE AND ESPECIALLY ANGELS ON EARTH!!!!!

Eric got a job:) YAY!!!!
Well Eric got the job working for the hydrovac company. WE are sooooo very excited!!! Now we are praying for housing. We found a place we love just can't afford all the move in costs. It would be perfect because out of town a little ways and we could have our horses with us. So we are just hoping and praying it won't rent in the next few weeks so we can save up and get it. I am not sure where we will stay till then but he starts his job Monday. So we will have to get all packed up this week and I will have to work my job. I am soooooo sad to have to leave my job:( I loved it and the people were so great. But this job will change our lives as far as being able to get out of debt, put money away and have health insurance:) I can't thank a certain lady enough for getting us there:) It means the world to us!!!
We are both sad to get out of ranching but this will be better in the long run and who knows maybe one day we will own our own little ranch:) Thank you everyone for your prayers and support:) Can't tell you how much it has meant!!!

Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you
I can say this is definitely a motto in my life. I am not going to say I am perfect at it but it is basic and easy if you will just do it. I wish everyone lived by it. It would sure be a better world to live in. I just can't comprehend hurting someone, lieing to or about someone or any other bad things on purpose. I don't care if I can't stand the person I still couldn't purposely hurt them or lie about them or to them. But we run into people like that EVERYWHERE!!! It makes me so mad and hurts me deeply but really it is them that suffer. To have to live with the fact that you lie or hurt people can't feel good. They have to constantly worry about someone finding out about there lies or someone doing it back to them. They live in fear!! I can say I am glad I don't have to live like that. I learned long ago that lieing only causes fear, sadness and can ruin relationships and other parts of your life. If only people could realize how freeing telling the truth and being kind can be!!
I just really think that old saying really could fix a lot of the personal, public, and economical problems. I know I am giving a miss America "world peace" answer but really if we all did unto others as we would want them to do to us the society would be a lot different!!!
