Goes to show impossible is possible-amazing barrel racer

Here is a video of an amazing girl who is paralyzed from the waste down from a car accident and is barrel racing only little over a year later. Makes you think about how much we can truly do if we put our heart and mind to it.










Description:
Amberley Snyder was paralyzed in an auto acccident. This bright young girl is a high school rodeo champion and past Utah State FFA chapter president. The daughter of ex-major league ball player Cory Snyder. She has gone to be an inspiration to many as she makes her comeback to rodeo. She is still paralyzed but is still determined to live her rodeo dream by competing in the WPRA barrel racing.

The 2011 Spanish Forks Fiesta Days Rodeo is part of the PRCA Wrangler Silver Tour series. It attracts some of the top rodeo contestants in the world.

This year's event featured both present and past world champions along with many of the current leaders in the world championship standings for the PRCA.

  1. Your video is not there, but I'm guessing this is the same girl that ran barrels at Salinas.

    If it is, she's a pretty neat kid. I watched her take care of her horses at the trailer and then take off wheeling down the drive-way with 2 horses on tow. Pretty handy. And dang does she have some nice horses.

  2. Yep. That's her. She and her horses have since figured things out. She ran a 15.9 at Salinas.
