It was beautiful and sunny with blue skies all morning and early afternoon and within 20 min this!!! It was a crazy winter storm that came in 3 spurts. I love the snow and winter storms but not today. Pringle did great all last night and even this morning. Was eating, drinking, and going to the bathroom and then at about 12:30 started acting uncomfortable and then broke out sweating again and wanting to roll. So I got the vet coming again and tried walking him which he didn't do for long before he refused and by the time the vet got here he wasn't sweating anymore and his heart rate had gone back down but he was still acting very painful so we decided to do another round of mineral oil, electrolytes and such. PRAYING it works!!! This weather isn't so fun to battle that. Was really hoping we could get moved before all these crazy weather changes. But hopefully only like 2 more weeks.
Awww! Poor horse! Is he doing better? I'll be praying you get moved and settled before all the weather comes.
